Hello!  My name is Ashley Morrison and I am so excited to be your Wellborn Theatre Teacher! 

I have had a love of Theatre and acting since I was a little girl.  I grew up in Navasota, Texas and started acting at the Navasota Theatre Alliance at a very young age.  In 6th grade, I was able to get an agent and manager, and I started acting professionally.  For several years I performed in movies, made for TV movies, and commercials.  It was such a great experience and fun time in my life!  I knew that I wanted to spread my love of acting to others, so I decided to become a teacher!

I graduated from Texas A&M with a Speech Communication Degree.  After college, I began teaching in Petersburg, Texas as the 5th and 6th grade English teacher for 2 years.  Then we decided to move to Austin, Texas and I taught at Lago Vista Middle School for 4 years as the 6th grade English Teacher.  During this time, my husband started a business in College Station, so we made our way back here and that is when I started teaching Theatre at College Station Middle School which was a dream come true.  I taught there for 10 years, and then transferred to Wellborn Middle School and this will be my 4th year here.

I am married to James Morrison, who is a Real Estate Photographer in BCS, and we have two beautiful daughters, Molly and Anna, who both attend CSISD schools.  We also have two dogs, Auggie and Bella!

I have so many fun things planned for this year and I am so excited to get started.  It is going to be a great year!
